WHAT WE BELIEVE
Here at Truly Delivered, we believe in the gospel—not a prosperity gospel, not a “manifest it” gospel, and not a works-based gospel. We believe that salvation is by grace through faith, not earned by human effort, emotion, or ritual.
The Gospel
We believe that:
-
Jesus is fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless and perfect life, was crucified, buried, and physically resurrected from the dead.
(1 Corinthians 15:1–4; John 1:1,14; Hebrews 4:15) -
Through faith in His life, death, and resurrection, we are forgiven and given His righteousness. We trade our brokenness for His perfection.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 5:6–9; Romans 10:9–10) -
This faith restores our relationship with God now and secures our eternity with Him.
(John 3:16; Romans 5:15–17; Romans 8:1–4)
The Nature of God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three distinct persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This is known as the Trinity. Each person is fully God, co-equal and co-eternal, yet there is only one God.
(Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 14:26; 2 Corinthians 13:14)
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer at the moment of salvation, sealing them for redemption and empowering them to live a godly life. He is not a force or a feeling, but the third Person of the Trinity who convicts, comforts, teaches, and sanctifies.
(Ephesians 1:13–14; John 16:8,13–14; Galatians 5:22–23)
Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. It is the final standard for truth, faith, and how we live. We do not elevate personal experiences, visions, or “new revelations” above the written Word.
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 119:105; 2 Peter 1:20–21)
Sin & Human Nature
We believe all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory. No one is born righteous or deserving of salvation. Only through faith in Jesus can we be truly delivered from the power and penalty of sin.
(Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1–3; Romans 6:23)
Eternal Security
We believe that those who are truly born again are eternally secure in Christ—not because of performance, but because of His finished work.
(John 10:28–29; Romans 8:38–39; Ephesians 1:13–14)
True Freedom
We believe freedom in Christ isn’t found in spiritual rituals, emotional highs, or church routines. It’s found in trusting what Jesus already accomplished. You are not your own deliverer—Christ is.
The Church
We believe in the global Body of Christ, made up of all true believers. The local church is a place for worship, growth, fellowship, and mission—not a building or a business.
(Hebrews 10:24–25; Acts 2:42–47; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27)
Christ's Return & Final Judgment
We believe that Jesus Christ will return bodily, visibly, and gloriously to judge the living and the dead. Those who trust in Him will inherit eternal life in the presence of God; those who reject Him will face eternal separation.
(Acts 1:11; Revelation 20:11–15; Matthew 25:31–46)
Spiritual Warfare & Demonic Oppression
We believe that Christians can be oppressed, harassed, or tempted by demonic forces, but they cannot be possessed by demons. A true believer is indwelt and sealed by the Holy Spirit—not co-occupied by evil spirits.
(Ephesians 1:13–14; 1 John 4:4; Romans 8:9)
Spiritual warfare is real, and the enemy seeks to deceive, discourage, and distract believers. But we do not believe in chasing demons out of born-again Christians through theatrical rituals or fear-driven deliverance sessions. We are delivered through the truth—not through spectacle.
(John 8:31–32)
We stand firm in Christ, knowing that:
-
The Holy Spirit dwells in every believer
-
Satan has no authority over those in Christ
-
Victory comes by submitting to God and resisting the enemy
(James 4:7; Colossians 2:15; 2 Corinthians 10:4–5)
Deliverance is not something we chase—it’s something Jesus accomplished.
